They were joined as event finalists by sophmore Emily Kruljac who finished 15th in 100 breaststroke.
Erin, Jenna and Emily also teamed with Nicole Kostyk to finish 8th in the 200 Medley Relay to notch an all-state performance and the meet ended with Jenna and Erin joining Teresa Ybarra and Maggie Wisman on the eleventh place 400 freestyle relay.

District Championships
Meet start time is 9:30 on Friday and 9:00 on Saturday. District Championships is a prelims/finals meet. Everyone entered in the meet swims on Friday and the top 16 swimmers in each event swim again on Saturday.
Swimmers are excused from school on Friday. An excusal list has been turned in so you do not need to call in to excuse your student-athlete. Swimmers need to meet at school at 7:45am to take the bus back over to Moon Valley on Friday. Yes this is a little hokey but it has to do with the excusal process and the school's responsibility for students during the school day. The meet should end around 1:00pm which is after lunch so we are planning on going to eat at Peter Piper after the meet, please bring a few dollars for lunch.
Since Saturday is not a school day, you are not required to take the bus to the pool. We will meet at Moon Valley at 7:30. If you qualify to swim Saturday and have trouble getting to Moon Valley that morning, let us know immediately after you know you have advanced so that we can make arrangements for you.

Are you leaving town for Fall Break? If you are leaving town for Fall Break, please let the staff know the days you will be gone.
Fall Break Schedule – Because of the uncertainty of the heating of the pool and to avoid overlapping with Synchronized Swimming, we will practice from 9am to 11am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week. Tuesday and Thursday practice will still be from 7 to 9pm. If the change in schedule presents a problem with transportation, please let the staff know and we will do our best to arrange a ride for you.
We have added a meet – We have signed up for the “Mesa Last Chance Meet” on Saturday, October 22nd at Mesa Skyline pool. Yes we know this is during Fall Break and people will be out of town. Yes we know this is a band competition day. And finally, yes we know this is ACT day. Attendance for most swimmers at this meet is optional. If you would like to be entered in this meet please let the coaching staff know no later than Saturday.
The meet begins at 9:30, the van leaves school at 7am. As the number of teams is limited, we would expect the meet to run approximately four hours. If you would like to watch the meet, spectator admission is $5.
